The Livingston Community Association is currently looking for volunteers to fill vacant Board of Director roles. Nominees would stand for election at the Livingston Community Association’s Annual General Meeting on November 3, 2022. Successful nominees would serve a 2 year term starting immediately after the AGM has been completed. All directors chair their own committee, and are expected to attend their committee meetings along with a monthly board meeting.
If the Association cannot fill the available board positions, the ability of Livingston Community Association to provide events, programs, initiatives and advocacy on behalf of the community is greatly diminished.
Per the Association’s Bylaws and the Societies Act of Alberta, if the executive positions on the board (President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary) are not filled, the Association will be forced to shutdown.
